2. Our approach

Havenor collects no data. It has no accounts of its own, no tracking, no ads, no in-app purchases and no third-party SDKs.

3. The app

Your save games, settings, profile (name and crest) and the picture for the widget are stored only on your device. Nothing is uploaded to us. The game plays offline.

Game Center: the daily island leaderboard and the achievements use Apple's Game Center. Signing in is optional. If you are signed in, Apple processes your player name, your scores and your achievements. Apple is the controller for this processing; Apple's privacy policy and its Game Center notice apply.

Photos: in photo mode you can save a picture of your town to your photo library. The app asks for permission to add photos only and never reads your library.

The app does not use the microphone, the camera or your location.

4. The website

This website is static: no cookies, no analytics, no third-party embeds. Even the fonts are served from this site.

The site runs on our own server at Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in its data centre in Falkenstein. When you visit the site, the server logs technically necessary data (IP address, time of access, requested page, user agent) for operation and security. These logs are deleted after 30 days. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation).

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since we collect no personal data, there is usually nothing on file that we could disclose.
